Gita Pump was established in the year 1964 as a Proprietorship firm by its Present Managing Director or Founder Mr. B.S. Saini, for the purpose of Designing, Manufacturing and Supplying of all types and sizes of Centrifugal, Mixed and Axial Flow Pumps for water and all other liquids. The company started on a small scale, and has since grown steadily. The Company’s present scope comprises a very wide range of pump’s in various sizes and for various applications. The company’s product is supplied all over India and is exported to different countries.

Our Founder Managing Director Mr. B.S. Saini is a Pump Designer of eminence and is among very few hydraulic pump designers in the country. He had obtained his B.Sc Engg. Mech. Degree with honors from Banaras Hindu University in the year 1956 and thereafter M.Sc. Engg. (Mech) Degree from the University of Michigan USA in the year 1959.
Thereafter he worked as a Pump Design Engineer in a Pump Co. of USA for three years. While working in this company, Mr. Saini acquired considerable knowledge and experience in the Designing and Development of all types and sizes of pumps from basic hydraulic design constants.

Equipped with the latest know-how and vast experience on design of pumps, we are constantly carrying out
design modification and improvement on our pumps for up grading performance and efficiency.
Prototype are tested and improved before putting on production line for shipment to customers. We are
continuously testing our product in our hydraulic test laboratory and the results are carefully recorded for
proper interpretation to match with the designed performance.
